Building Relationships In a Dynamic Group Experience
BRIDGE groups are sermon-based small groups that meet weekly to study, share, and support one another in their Christian lives.
What will we study?
The studies for 2016-2017 will be based on the previous Sunday’s sermons and the correlating scripture readings. You will be given discussion questions that expand upon the main points of the pastor’s sermon. They will include additional Bible verses that pertain to the topic and practical applications. Discussion questions will be available in the Narthex, church office, or online.
When will we meet?
When you sign up you will indicate a preference of a meeting time and day depending on the groups available. You can join a group based on the time they meet or a shared demographic (e.g. parents with small children, retired, empty nesters, etc.). A typical meeting lasts a minimum of an hour and includes informal and guided discussion, prayer, and refreshments. No homework is required.
Session 1: September 25 – November 19, 2016
Session 2: January 8 – March 4, 2017
Session 3: March 19 – May 18, 2017
Where will we meet?
Groups will gather together in a place determined by the group leader. This can be in a home of a group member, at Bethel, or anywhere else. Your lives can determine the best way for this group to work.
